Like a nutjob, I entered a double Master in Fallon, NV the weekend after the national, and like an even bigger nutjob, we actually went!
We had weather on the way up, and then more there -

The first day, we made it to the last blind of the second series, where I made a BIG handler error so we got dropped. I am blaming it on drugs and exhaustion ;-) Since we now had the second day off, and the weather improved, we went to a reservoir so Dodger could swim and I could look for flowers. Then back to the motel to rest. The second test had a truly ugly, above our heads second series, so oh well! time to go home.

Next we went to east nowhere Arizona for a couple of obedience trials, which gave us a Fourth in Utility but no points.
We visited the Petrified National Forest were we saw cool petrified wood -

striped hills and ancient Indian drawings -

and of course, pretty flowers!

On the way home, we were stuck sitting on the 10 for three hours due to a messy, fortunately non-fatal accident 1 1/2 miles down the road.

go back

more running around!
