A couple of weeks after we got home from Hawai'i, Dodger and Proxy were entered in trials in Reno. I asked
Rick if he wanted to go and he did!
So we drove up after work Thursday night - Rick took this picture of
the moon over Nevada.
Proxy flunked both Utility classes (she came in season a few days later so maybe that was the excuse!)
but
Dodger scored well in Open B both times, winning Third and Second, to finish his OM2 and start his OM3.
Next, we did ASCA obedience, to finish Dodger's CDX, which he did with First place. At the afternoon trial, he
earned his first UD leg with Second!
The next weekend it was Proxy's turn - in Santa Maria she earned her second UD leg with a tie for First place.
Since
I wasn't even thinking about the possibility of a runoff, well we ended up with Second. ;-)
The trial was held at the Santa Maria Elks club - can you tell?
The next day Proxy finished her UD! Now on to the road to an OTCh....
