Next up was the Northern California CCRC's specialty. Friday was obedience - unfortunately Teaz miscalculated
the broad jump, but Proxy was HIT from Utility and earned her second GN leg.
We stayed on the grounds and many of the RV folks decorated their areas for Halloween!
Teaz was Winners Bitch for one point each, and BOS because there were no bitch specials, both Sat and Sunday.
Next we went out to Boulder City, NV near Vegas to do a match and three trials. The match went well, but for some
reason on Friday Teaz couldn't do the down stay, blowing a nice score (of course) and her CDX title. But because I'm
a nice mom (sucker), I took everyone to Lake Mead for a nice swim.
The lake is full of mussels, and I found these very tiny, very spiny flowers. On the way back to our
camp, I saw Mountain Goats!
We are staying on the grounds - this is our commute, from here to that red car is where the gate to the site is.
On Saturday,
Teaz flunked BOTH stays (grrrr) but Rapid finished his BN with First and Proxy earned another GN leg,
also with First.
Next weekend was three trials in Tucson, no flowers but there was cactus fruit and cheap gas. Tho kind of sad that we
think this is cheap ...
The first day, Teaz finished her CDX with Fourth place and the second day Proxy finished her GN with First place.
