The next weekend Proxy, Teaz and I accompanied Lucky Kitty to Las Vegas for a match and three trials.
The match went well, got lots of training done.
The first trial, Proxy worked well in Utility and won
Second place, then went on to act like a ditz in Open and flunk!
We are camping at the Sam's Town RV park - this female Starling does not approve.
Proxy picked up another "no points" Second in Utility and went down on the sit in Open, so that was that!
The famous Las Vegas sign is actually on Boulder Highway, not far from Sam's Town, and not on the Strip.
Next we went up to one trial on the Turkey Circuit to also look at cars and to have dinner with Leslie.
On the way up we saw many really beautiful fall trees.
After having a used car salesman for dinner ;-), the next morning Proxy tied for Second and ended up with Third
in Utility for another OTCh point and finished her OM3! She also Q'd in Open for her fourth UDX2 leg.
On the way out of town, we saw lots of beautiful trees!
Next weekend was trials in Yuma, which was the first trip for the new Lucky Kitty Limo.
On the way there, we passed very close to Mexico - this is the fence on the border.
There are also fences next to the freeway so off roaders won't just drive straight on to the dunes!
The best Proxy could do both days was Third in Utility, which was just out of the points.
Fortunately, we had a good time otherwise, including going to a patio restaurant for lunch, which had
a bunch of pretty birds.
We also had tasty drinks, and at the show we got to meet Santa Dog!
The next weekend we stayed close to home to do Rally in Costa Mesa, where Teaz finished her RE with a
Second and a Third, and Brisa finished her RN.
