The next weekend we drove out to Boulder City, NV which is near Las Vegas, for a match and three trials. Since
Rick has to go out of town I had to take all three dogs
- Teaz got bored on the trip out...
The first day, Lucky Kitty helped Dodger win Second in Utility for 2 more points, and Proxy to win Fourth in
Open to finish her CDX.
The next day we showed late and Dodger flunked - he hates the heat! Proxy did better in Open B and won Third.
Boulder City is the gateway of the Hoover dam! ;-)
The last day was almost a rerun of the first day - Dodger won a runoff for Second in Utility for 2 more points -
he is in SINGLE DIGITS now!!! - and Proxy was Fourth in Open.
Bronze Big Horn Sheep, outside a shopping area, to make up for the real one I saw on the way home last weekend and
couldn't get a picture of... ;-)
Like a twit, I thought entering trials in Washington, during winter, was a good idea. Crap.
So, we are hiding in a Motel 6 in Eugene for tonight and will continue on to Auburn tomorrow.
Bah, the weekend was a bust! The best Lucky Kitty was able to do was a Fourth the second day, which wasn't worth
any points. And it was soooooo COLD!!!!
I couldn't wait to get home, or close to home, where the weather is much more reasonable...
Dodger and Proxy got to hunt ground squirrels at Lost Hills, where I also took a few pictures of the early Goldfields.
