Lucky Kitty and I took the whole herd (Proxy, Teaz, Brisa and Rapid) up to Reno for a match and three trials.
Proxy is entered in all the trials, and Teaz is entered in Rally Advanced just on Saturday. The first day, she
just Q'd in Utiity and tied for Third (and lost the runoff) in Open B, so no OTCh points but her fifth UDX leg and
she finished her OM2.
In Sparks, they have U-Hauls on a stick!
It was hot hot hot AND humid, so we hid in the room when we weren't at the trial building. Friday evening we had a bit of excitement.
The next day it was even hotter, but Proxy came thru with a runoff with NOC Dream in Utility, and ended up with Third for 4 more
OTCh points,
and a three way runoff for Fourth in Open (I think we ended up second in that runoff) for her sixth UDX leg.
Teaz also did well, finishing her RA with a four way tie for First, which of course since I'm slow we ended up with Fourth ;-)
Sunday Proxy flunked Open, 50% my fault 50% hers and only Q'd in Utility, so we got an early-ish start home.
On the way we ran into a really bad hail storm!
The next weekend we just took Proxy, up to Spokane for a couple of trials. The first day she won Utilty
for 10 more points, but was
only Second in Open, sooooo close to getting that Open First! sigh
The next day she won Utility again with a 199 for another 10 points, but was only
Fourth in Open, with a 197. Ah well, two more UDX legs
and more OM3 points!

Closer to home, Proxy did Southwest's trial in Gardena, where Lucky Kitty saw her win Third in Utility for 2 more OTCh points, and Q in
Open for her ninth UDX leg.
Ten teams were entered, including this one made up of "prisoners" and their "guards".
The next weekend we were up to Reno for the trials in the casino. They have this great sculpture out front -
Proxy started the day out right by winning a big Utility class for 14
more OTCh points!
Then she won Open for 6 more OTCh points, High in Trial, High Combined and to finish her UDX!
On the way home she got to fetch a bumper from Lake Topaz, which involved off roading in the Volvo yet again. ;-)
