This years national specialty was in Beachwood, OH at a very nice hotel that I've already forgotten the name
of. ;-) They had a pond in the middle with turtles
and goldfish that one could feed with free food from
the front desk - one turtle thought we weren't throwing enough of the food in his direction!
Obedience was the first day and Proxy came through winning both Open B & Utility B, for High in Trial and
High Combined - and lotsa loot!
Of course, one of her rewards was to be able to sleep on the bed.
After much drinking and two days of conformation, we went to watch the field dogs run. At dinner one night, Leslie ordered
Absinthe;
the booze was in the glass, there was sugar on the spoon
and water was dripped onto the sugar from that big thingee.
The field events were held at the Buckeye RC's grounds which are very nice! Too bad they have weather there
Of course, I found flowers.
Jewelweed and Orange Hawkweed
This is the first time I've seen a bumper used as a bumper.
Then the long trek home - our flight out of Dallas was delayed a couple of hours, and neither Proxy nor
Lucky Kitty are amused!
